ok, I am sure this has been asked and answered before....

Besides Esty.. which site is your favourite and best to start to seel your own designs... Does it matter that I am in Canada,

Artfire is the other big one, I dont think being in Canada will affect that.

Another place to think about starting is Facebook.  They have a way to make a shop, the app is called Payvment and it is totally free for the basic shop, so it might be a good place to test the waters.

I live in Canada too and have noticed that a lot of Cdn sites sell in US dollars.  I don't think it matters where you live to have an online shop as long as you have reasonable shipping rates.  I know that can be difficult living here since our postal rates are on the high side.  

I don't sell anything, just make stuff for myself since I'm a newbie but I do buy supplies from online stores and etsy.  I do find it disappointing when a seller doesn't ship to Canada and if their shipping charges are ridiculous, I won't make a purchase.
