Hi Val ... I'm not sure about the cab ... it came in a mixed bag. At a guess I'd say is was a red jasper? The round stones are mookaite (mookite) also a kind of jasper. A stone I love to bits, because of its huge colour range. Ruth

Oh yes! I like mookite; it's very pretty. I love jaspers very much. One of my favorites is chocolate jasper. Thank you, Ruth.
Hi! Here is mine. I call it, Seaweed - An adventure in knots.
Here i am experimenting, just seeing how friendship bracelet knotting and macrame knotting work together.
blueelephantart, I like your work very much, color is great and Seaweed is a very good name. Your experiment worked out well............I'd ditch the background though........and let the macrame shine by itself a bit more. Donna
Thnx! Ya my table is dirty and has glue bits stuck on it! That's why i use the paper background. In future, i'll take photos with my bead mat.
Oooo! Me likey! And you got emerald in there, well done, you!
Oh, amazing! @blueelephant what fiber are you using in the Seaweed piece? I just purchased C-lon and this looks like a definite way to use it! Your piece is gorgeous!

Thankyou! Its S-Lon #18 Beading Cord.
Very Nice! & to my understanding, S-lon #18 is very similar to the C-lon- Great! Thx for sharing your work! I love seeing what others come up with.
Yup! Though S-Lon is actually a copy of C-Lon. S-Lon is made by another company.
You did a good job on it and they are really pretty too .
Leslie Rogalski: All you knotty girls and boys, let's see your macrame! I have a couple pieces up on my latest blog, and will be finishing something new soon. Ooh Ahh session, about to begin! --Leslie

Here are some of mines, definitely inspired by Ms Annika deGroot. These are early works, but still some of my favorites.

Those are beautiful! I love them both equally!
Beautiful! I love both of these Vicky! On the violet with the filigree especially beautiful centerpiece! & the orange one stands out so much with the antique button. I am also a button lover! Well any metal components really- LOL & Stone, glass, even resin & clay... Okay, okay, so I guess I am eclectic but when a piece comes together so beautifully you can't be biased based on materials, lol.
