Was polymer clay actually considered in the plastics category? It seems very odd that none of the finalists are polymer clay. My plastics entry was polymer clay and I was pretty sure had a good chance of winning - when I saw it didn't even make the finals I was very surprised. Just wondering...
I think the green and gold necklace that was a finalist in the plastics category is polymer clay, in fact I just recently saw how it was made in polymer clay so I'm sure it was, other than that I didn't see much of it either. Morley
right you are, it's a lovely design. didn't catch it the first time around. I do see that it is strung with "regular" plastic beads. my thought is that perhaps polymer-only designs were not really considered. perhaps they meant that polymer could be mixed with lucite or resin beads and still be counted as plastic. I can't wait to hear how the voting turns out! I've got a finalist in the "under $25 category"!
Polymer-only pieces were acceptable in this category.
