  • Jewelry Stringing, Spring 2013

The Spring issue of Jewelry Stringing magazine is blooming with color! In a special feature, the editors of Jewelry Stringing have collected their favorite online resources for color inspiration; with a little help from these handy websites you'll be designing eye-catching jewelry in knockout palettes. Of course, the 77 jewelry ideas that are featured in this issue will give you plenty of colorful design ideas, as well. These pieces are organized into four themed categories that reflect some of the latest trends in jewelry design. The resurgence of prohibition-era styles is represented in our Vintage Moxie category. The tassels, jewel tones, and art deco silhouettes that you will find in these pages hearken back to the glamour of the Roaring 20's. The electric-hued jewelry pieces in our High Voltage section were inspired by the neon craze that has swept the fashion world. The Coachella Chic category showcases some of the rugged indie fashion trends that are modeled by the guests at the annual Coachella music festival. And finally, our Bleached Brights section highlights jewelry in powdery pastel tones with spunky metallic accents. We're sure you'll enjoy browsing through each of these categories, but make sure not to miss our new-and-improved Technique Focus sidebars, and Get the Look pages (featuring a collection of jewelry-making materials based on each of our themes).
