This sweet 3-strand necklace features jade and aventurine rounds, silver-plated chain, a silver filigree fishhook clasp, lavender glass lentils, and a handcrafted porcelain pendant.  Best of all, it was created with a $25 budget.  Find more "under $25" designs in the Spring 2009 issue of Stringing.

Necklace is lovely Michelle but where did you get the pendant? I do many pieces under $25.00 but do you have to use the whole cost of a strand if you only use a few beads out of it. I always use sterling chain by the foot or bulk & comes in at around your plated chain cost or very little more. Heather

the beauriful shades just scream SPRING!! All my favorite colors too. If u were to sell this piece, can I ask the amount of time it took u to make and what u would charge? Just curious, as this is the tyoe of necklace I have been designing for months, gorgeous, under $25 and affordable fora person to buy in the economic crunch we are in, and who would ever guess it cost what it did to make, that's the best part.

Pretty necklace! I'm wondering on the pricing, though. Heather H was asking if you use the price of an entire strand if you only use a few beads from it. I've been designing and selling jewelry for years, now and STILL don't know 100% how much to price them all. On some pieces, if I charge for my time, I'd be the only one wearing it!
