I already subscribe to Beadwork. Why is there not an option to download the "free" peyote patterns without having to subscribe again? I am disappointed with the false advertising.

SusanB, the "subscribe to" refers to Beading Daily. when you click on the "download 5 free peyote patterns, you'll be asked for your email and password. these are your access codes to beading daily, NOT to Beadwork. you do NOT have to subscribe to Beadwork in order to subscribe to beading daily. if you already subscribe to Beading Daily, when the "enter email and password" boxes show up, enter your beading daily id info. if you don't subscribe to Beading Daily yet, start your subscription to this free newsletter which has never, as far as I can tell, generated any spam or junk mail for me. hope this helps, Mary

Thank you very much - I'm a newbie to Peyote - so I am looking forward to try this out. For easy download - right click and choose "Save destination as.." (I hope it says so - I'm from Denmark, so it is my translation) - choose a place to save it and you're done. Happy beading

I am a new member to Beading Daily and so far it is wonderful! My local beadshop gave me your website. Thanks!!!! Does anyone have a pattern for the beaded bicone crystal pendant thats shaped in a ball. These pendants sell for over $100 in well known dept. stores. Thanks for being out there for me. ron

I have the absolute latest Adobe Reader download, I just updated. So...why does it say the file is corrupt? Hmm...too bad, it looks very interesting.

If you have the latest version of Adobe Reader and are still having issues, the easiest solution is to right click on the pdf and save it to your computer. Then open your saved file.

I can not get the file to download. The file says it is corrupted. Could you see if there is another way to open the file?

Thank you for the five patterns. I just downloaded and saved them. I printed off the one I wanted to work on. I had no problems at all. I believe have an updated version of Adobe Reader that there should be no problem.

Thank you so much for the free peyote patterns!! I have been searching for the Banded tapestry cuff/Kathy King for some time. This bracelet is to die for!! Anyone who cannot decide which bracelet to start with...let me just tell you that this one is gorgeous when done! Love BD and I have done over 20 years of stitching with fabric and beads. I always seem to come up with new ideas and what I don't come up with...you seem to find it for me.

I have been trying unsuccessfully to open this file and get the error message that the file is corrupted. Seems I'm not the only one having this problem. I think I have the lattest version of Adobe (7) but have tried to open it immediately and also saving the file which still produces the same error message. If some one could e-mail me the patterns, I surely would appreciate it. Peyote is my favorite stitch and bracelets are my favorite pieces to make. D'Maris MacPherson

I hate to look a gift horse in the mouth, but the problems opening this file have been going on since January! I have the most current version of Adobe and cannot open it. I've tried in Preview also. I tried on this Mac and my office PC. I am at a loss as to why some people can open it and others, like me, are having such a hard time. It's so frustrating!

Isn't there some way that those of us who have been unable to download the 5 Free Peyote Stitch Patterns can get those patterns. Peyote is my favorite stitch and the Illusion pattern looks especially lovely. Ther is obviously something wrong for so many of us to be having the same problem. I have never had any trouble downloading from this site before. I'm sure all of us who have been unsuccessful would appreciate any information on how to obtain these patterns. I have found that I cannot open any files unless I do the following first: scroll across the top of the page to where it says sign in. I click on that and enter my email addy and my BeadingDaily password. After a moment, it switches back to the download page, and I can then click on the download to get the patterns. This happens every time to me although I am a member and have the latest adobe. Hope it works for everyone else.

I installed the latest version of Adobe on my Mac running OS X, downloaded the .pdf, and got a message that says it can't open it, the file may be corrupt. I see other people are having the same problem. Any solution yet? Thanks...

Geez, Louise... is anybody at beading daily paying attention? I've tried to download the "5 free Peyote stitch Ptrns" several times in in the last many weeks and STILL the file is corrupt. Would someone at beading daily please fix it or just remove it? Thank you.

Ok, I am really late BUT, I have downloaded this file. I see 4 different e-mail addresses on here requesting the file. I am sending them to you all. IF there is anyone else that perhaps wants it and IF my email attachment works and you guys are able to download it, then I would be more than happy to send it to others. I have The Shield Deluxe as my virus protection and my files are checked before attaching incase anyone is worried about that. To those of you who are having trouble with corrupted downloads, check your computer's virus protection options. Sometimes you have to manually click a box to allow the download to pass. If you cannot download it here, just go the FREE PROJECTS on the first page of this newsletter and it is there as it was published here in January. I had no problem downloading it there.

I finally figured out how to download this and now as a happy beading clam can begin to use ahuge stash of seed beads.I needed something like this to bring me back to beading I,ve not done much since my daughter-in-la moved away we used to work together in my craft room and created like crazy,but when she moved out of state I just couldn't stay at anything all alone this is stupid I know for an 80year old to act like a baby.This will kick start this old lady into having some fun again Thank You all for great connebts

This project does not download correctly. I downloaded it 5 times and when I open the downloaded file, it is blank. I downloaded other projects fine. This download file is empty.

Great patterns^^ Going to have to buy some seed beads and try it out. I think my 9 year old daughter will enjoy these too. The instructions seem clear enough for her, with a bit of guidance. Good job!

I tried twice to download this file, and I still can't get it to open, it says it cannot open file, and could not repair it, the problem seems to be with the opening command. I will try a different method and see if I can get it that way.

I also tried several times to download this file and received the same message file is corrupt and cannot be repaired. Is there any other way to get this file? I'd love to try peyote. Thanks Lindy

Thank you, these are awesome. For those of you having problems downloading because of the error message that it's a corrupt file, try using Mozilla Firefox browser, I never have a problem with that browser. Thanks again for the patterns, JMY

i'm hooked on the rings! made 13 so far in all sizes. i add a picot on each side with size 15 seed beads . also i use hex 11 beads for the border. when i use s.l. gold or s.l. crystal same border and picot they just pop! Edee

Tip for Mac users: I couldn't download the file in Firefox, but I switched browsers and in Safari, it downloaded just fine. Try a different internet browser!

I tried opening the file AND then I tried downloading the file and saving it first before opening and I am STILL getting messages that says this is corrupted. I would love to try some of these patterns, would anyone be willing to send to me? I have the latest adobe reader but that didn't work either. My email is jinidoherty@yahoo.com thanks in advance.
