This festive netted snowflake has many uses: decorate your holiday gifts with it, dangle it on a small suction cup with a hook in a window, or hang it on a Christmas tree. All you need are silver metallic size 11 seed beads and a mix of 3 and 4 millimeter white fire-polished rounds.

This pattern is easy and the ornament turns out beautiful! I made several of them using clear AB beads, white AB beads and even used red, green, and gold to make it look like a poinsettia.

They may be beautiful, but in order to be considered a snowflake it must have six sides, not eight. It's an octagon. Maybe the pattern could be revised to have six sides.
