The knitted core of this necklace is made using a Knitty Knobby (also known as a French knitter, knitting spool, knitting mushroom), a tool Kathleen remembers from her childhood. The beaded beads are made with right angle weave (RAW) and netting, while peyote stitch or brick stitch is used for the clasp.  This project will be free on Beading Daily until November 3, 2008.
