101 Bracelets, Necklaces, and Earrings 2014 Submissions Guidelines Posted!

Dec 4, 2013

Calling all jewelry artists! We have just finalized our submissions guidelines and deadlines for the next issue of 101 Bracelets, Necklaces, and Earrings, and we are so excited to share them with you! As always, this issue will feature 101 stylishly simple, wearable, and colorful jewelry designs.

WHAT'S NEW

This year, we will be organizing our featured designs into 8 different groups. Each grouping will feature jewelry inspired by one of our issue palettes:

There have also been a few changes to our submissions process this year. Instead of requiring full instructions for each design as we have in the past, we are only asking that artists fill out a Project Information Form for each of their designs that they send in for consideration. This form should be downloaded, filled out on a computer, saved, and then emailed back to us at 101BNE@interweave.com.

Read our full guidelines, download a PDF of our 8 issue palettes, and access the Project Information Form and Submissions Form from this page.

DEADLINES

In an effort to make less work for anyone who would like to submit a project to 101 Bracelets, Necklaces, and Earrings, we will allow you to email pictures of your projects to 101BNE@interweave.com up to January 2nd, 2014 (about two weeks before the "in office" deadline listed below). We will review your pieces and let you know which ones we would like you to send in for further review.

Submissions are due IN OUR OFFICE on or before January 15th, 2014.

We are looking forward to seeing your designs!

Chloe

These are such fun palettes, and I'm looking forward to making and submitting some pieces! I do have one question: are we supposed to also consider the title of the palette in our designs? In other words, if a person makes a necklace in the "Feathers in Flight" category, does it need to have a bird/flight theme, or just be in those colors? Thanks for your help :)

Hi Tara,

We are only looking for jewelry to be inspired by the colors of the palette--they do not need to follow the theme (i.e. birds, berries, stained glass, etc.).

Can't wait to see your submissions!

I am going through my stash sorting out colors that fit into your groupings; and I realize that I have items that I don't remember where I purchased them.

In your Project Information Form, under your "Materials Used" you have a column for "Where to buy (Store name where you purchased the item, store phone number, web URL"

Can I still submit pieces if I cannot fill in this column?  (hoping your answer is “Yes”)

Thank you!!
