How to Make a Slide Knot

I find myself often using slide knots--those knots you can form on leather that slide up and down on the leather, allowing you to shorten or lengthen your piece as desired. It's an easy knot to form and works especially well with simple necklaces like the one I created here. Follow my tutorial below to learn how to make these super simple slide knots. 

Take one end of your leather and fold it over the other end.
Wrap the folded end of the leather two or three times around the other end.
Pass the end of the wrapped leather through the wraps just formed, from top to bottom.
Pull the end of the cord just used to tighten the knot.
Repeat to wrap the cord that was originally wrapped around to the cord that originally did the wrapping.
