How to Find Free Technique Help

Oct 17, 2012

One of the main goals of Jewelry Stringing magazine is to teach our readers how to make their own jewelry. We do this by providing thorough step-by-step instructions with every featured design in the magazine. We also have a Technique Focus column in every issue that is dedicated to educating readers about one particular technique. Plus, in the back of each issue we publish Stringing 101, which lists tutorials for all the techniques used in the magazine. I hope you've discovered all these tools for learning or improving your own techniques. What I want to talk about now is all the other free technique information available on Beading Daily.

Let's say you want to make a simple loop. Where can you go for more information? I'll show you...

To find written instructions and illustrations for common techniques, go to the "Free Resources" tab on the BeadingDaily home page, then click on Techniques, Tools, and How-To Articles.
That will take you to an index of techniques. Click on the technique of your choice, in this case "simple loop."
Here, you will find the same information that is available in the Stringing 101 section of the magazine.

Want to actually see someone demonstrating how to make a wrapped loop? We have that available for you, too.

To find videos for common techniques, go to the "Videos" tab on the BeadingDaily home page, then click on Jewelry Stringing Videos.
That will take you to an index of free videos. Click on the technique of your choice, in this case "simple loop."
Enjoy a video created by yours truly!

I hope these free online tools help you create the jewelry of your dreams!
