Thrift Store Jewelry Display

Aug 31, 2012

Yesterday I stumbled upon this idea from Martha Stewart for cute and easy jewelry storage using mismatched teacups and saucers:

I set out to create my own version of this adorable display (on a budget, of course), and was pleased to discover that my local thrift store had a ton of colorful jars and vases that are the perfect size for displaying bracelets and earrings. Here is a selection of my favorite finds:

The best part? This entire collection was under $15!

Nearly all of the jewelry that is pictured here will be featured in the Winter issue of Jewelry Stringing magazine--be sure to pick up your copy when it hits newsstands in December 2012!

Happy weekend!

That's a beautiful and brilliant idea! I love my local thrift shop, and they've got TONS of old glassware like that!

I used the left over hurricane type vases from my daughter's wedding to store jewelry. The beads are easy to find and add some dazzle to my dresser.
