Try as I might, I cannot figure out why I thought it was necessary to buy 600 feet of pink embroidery thread to make one necklace when I was in Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago. (I am claiming temporary craft-store induced insanity. We've all been there, right?) Not one to waste jewelry-making supplies, I decided to use some of my leftover thread to make my own version of the popular thread-and-charm "wish" necklaces like this one from Dogeared Jewelry & Gifts:
Inspired by the sweet simplicity of these stripped-down necklaces, I made up the following three designs.
In the end, I really like how these necklaces came out! (Added perk: since they are so quick and easy to make, and can easily be customized with any type of charm, they make great gifts!)
