Editor Melinda Barta has let me loose as my "Stitch Pro" alter-ego, my column in Beadwork magazine. It was pretty intimidating, but I finally got the hang of it. I found it a pretty versatile stitch than can be used as well Ndebele and Peyote in most projects.

So good to "hear" from you again!

When I first started RAW, I used a pattern of three or four different colored beads for the same place in each row to help understand where to go next. I could just look at what had been done and where to assist in the learning curve.

It's so versatile and looks good all the time. There are so many designs to be done with this stitch! When a mistake is made, it usually winds up looking like part of the design! Row by row or up and down, single rows to as many as you like! I love it1
