Capitola Girl has been making gifts for family and friends for the past few years. This holiday-inspired necklace features Russian serpentine, African bone beads, beet-red fossil beads, and green ceramic spacers.

Joanne was inspired by a pattern by Barbara E. Elbe that she found on Barbara's website. She combined two patterns into one, since she is giving the earrings to a woman who likes long earrings.

Debra Pyeatt created this unique beaded gift for an uncle who loves his Tabasco sauce!

Karen Nicholson created this beautiful peyote-stitch flower pin after seeing the Star-Topped Magic Wand by Sylvia Becker.

Karen Nicholson also created these geometric star ornaments using bugle beads.

Laurie Silva makes (and teaches) beaded ornament covers. The red-and-green one shown uses brick stitch. Laurie notes that designer Deb Moffet-Hall creates many banner-style ornaments.

Mary E. Heimerman has made many pairs of these seed bead Santa earrings for friends. She found the design in Beaded Images by Barbara Elbe.

Melanie Novak created these sparkly snowflake ornaments using instructions by Sandra D. Halpenny in the October 2006 issue of Bead and Button.

Mary-jo, you can go to Sandra Halpenney's website (http://www.sandradhalpenny.com) and see if the instructions are there.  If they aren't there, you could email her through the website and ask about it.  I'm sure you can get the pattern from her.  She has lots of other beautiful snowflakes too (and other patterns) on her site.

I would like to know if the Santa earring pattern is available or if a kit is available.  I would love to make them for myself and  my  mom.
