Is there a tool that measure the inside hole as well as the diameter of glass seed beads to help with culling?

I too looked through the fashion magazines and checked out the runway shows and designer looks for fall and winter. The jewelry "trend" seemed to be toward big, glitzy, in my opinion clunky jewelry. Not my style and I'm guessing not designed for REAL people, at least not the real people who buy my jewelry. While I'm tempted to try and work at least within the color trends I find that I'm more successful if I let nature and the colors happening around me act as my guide and fashion director.

I do like the new gallery software. I had to update my security to get there, but once I got there, it's a pretty slick little slideshow gizmo.

And the fall jewelry in the gallery is lovely. Made me wanna get busy!

Hi,

I have been designing 17 years and never really paid much attention to trends because they are just that- a trend! I have always made cuffs, seasonal pieces, whether or not they were in style. Finally last year and the beginning of this year I decided after seeing what was big in Europe and supposedly coming our way, to beat the trend and go for it. Even in the Sun. paper, in all the major store advertisements, I saw tons of the same themed jewelry, so I made both so called trends, after 6 shows they are going to the recycle room-LOL, I sold a few here and there but I am much better off sticking to my own personal instinct. Yes, I go more for the coppers, brass, browns for the fall, but in my way not what the trends dictate, and I am much better off that way.
