They too have a nice glow that shows, particularly with netted beads. The Beadin' Path in Maine has a good supply of them. I hadn't thought of using Resin beads - great idea!!

re: Make Jewelry More Colorful with Resin Beads

Sandi: http://www.naturaltouchbeads.com.

re: Make Jewelry More Colorful with Resin Beads

Is there a website for the resin beads made in Java?

re: Make Jewelry More Colorful with Resin Beads

Oooh! That's beautiful, Florence.

The problem with resin beads is that most are handmade, but I didn't have any problem with the disks I got from Natural Touch. http://www.naturaltouchbeads.com. Might want to try there?

re: Make Jewelry More Colorful with Resin Beads

Hi Jean,

Those beaded beads look great! I have a beaded bead with a resin core bead on my site, and from time to time a customer has asked me to write a pattern for it. I'm pretty sure that the resin core bead, with its soft luminescence and sea foam color is what is attracting their attention. I have trouble including the resin beads in a kit, however, because the ones I have found are not all the same size, and so I'm afraid my instructions will lead to a floppy or too tight cover for the resin core.

(That was a long build up for a simple question!)
Do you have a source for resin beads that are pretty uniform?

Thanks!
Florence Turnour

PS Here's the bead that I was talking about. The resin core is sea foam colored; you can see it more than you think.
