Are you kidding me? I had no idea before I took up beading that I was the Queen of Bling! These days, there cannot be too many seed beads, Swarovski Crystals, and Pearls. As I said to my boyfriend last weekend when he was shocked that I suddenly showed up wearing animal print camisoles, sometimes it's good to go outside of the box!

Hey! There's my sister, Mary Queen of Scots chiming in! A wonderful beader in her own right. Claire-my headdress in that photo is just a necklace draped over my extreme hairdo (I slicked my hair over huge rollers). Then I put a bit of tulle on with a bobbypin. Easy peasy! Good luck with the Tudor costume.

I love looking for pendants or charms that express my personality. I have a love of rock ' roll, so am always on the look-out for focal pieces that use wings, flaming hearts, fleur de lis, and evil eyes. I'm also starting to make my own by sandwiching images and ephemera between glass or encasing them in glaze. I also love animals, especially horses and rabbits, so I look for cute pieces that let me showcase that interest whenever I can. The horse pieces also sell well here in California, where I live.

I dressed up as Princess of Quite A Lot for Holloween. took a Dress and pined on ribbons, pins made, and necklesses draped on that I made. I looked lovely and fun.

Since I started Knitting and Crocheting many years ago before beading, I tend to include some form of the Yarn Arts into my Beading Designs.
