I love working with clay myself, earthenware and porcelaine and it is great to make your own molds or just use your hands to shape cabochones or beads. There is something really satisfying about ceramic beads. You can also make lightweight PMC beads by painting your own bisque beads, I have used the old egg patina on PMC'd earthenware bisque with great success. Thanks for showing Melanie's technique for adding detais to her pixie faces.
