We're almost halfway through December, and there are less than three weeks left in 2012. I always get a little nostalgic in December, and I usually take some time to meditate and reflect on all the wonderful things that have happened

re: The Top 12 Beading Daily Blogs of 2012 - And a Giveaway!

I enjoy all the articles and read every word, but my favorite, or maybe most useful so far is most definitely the "Your First Seed Bead Stash". It really helped me figure it all out when I was just starting! Thanks so much!

Even when you keep a stash of findings on hand, it always seems to work out that you need a different size, metal type, or style that you just don't have. Being able to make your own is a blessing, plus you can tweek them a little so they are unique to your style or piece.

I love peyote work and anytime there are ideas and helpful hints I save them for reference. So many times, while beading, these references help me through a project.

Using "dummy rows" is one of the most helpful, especially when working with smaller beads like 15s. These "dummy rows" help with any format of peyote.

Beading Daily is such a great source of helpful hints, advice, design ideas, and resources. Thank you.

I always kinda, sorta knew I could make them, but had never really tried until I saw the post. The instructions, the colors in the post and the realization of the cost savings really opened my eyes. I bought the book "Handcrafted Wire Findings" by Denise Peck and Jane Dickerson and have since been making most of my findings myself. Making my own findings made me go from timid header to really creating something truly fulfilling! Thanks for this site!
