I like Nov. 9, 2012, "Bead-weaving stitches in action." I love all of the helpful tips, tricks, and how-to's of different bead weaving stitches. They are very helpful to beginners and for those who may be out of practice. Thanks!

May and June were particularly interesting to me. Love the inspiring embroidery work. Embroidery was my first craft that my Mom taught me at an early age and I am always seeking ways to incorporate it into other media. Divine! And ideas to DIY findings is great!

All the blogs are helpful and/or inspiring, but June's 5 Common Jewelry Findings was the most helpful to me. Even when you keep a stash of findings on hand, it always seems to work out that you need a different size, metal type, or style that you just don't have. Being able to make your own is a blessing, plus you can tweek them a little so they are unique to your style or piece.

April''s post and September's post were very helpful for me. I love peyote work and anytime there are ideas and helpful hints I save them for reference. So many times, while beading, these references help me through a project.

Using "dummy rows" is one of the most helpful, especially when working with smaller beads like 15s. These "dummy rows" help with any format of peyote.

Beading Daily is such a great source of helpful hints, advice, design ideas, and resources. Thank you.

Although I loved all the posts, for me it was June 's post on making your own findings. I always kinda, sorta knew I could make them, but had never really tried until I saw the post. The instructions, the colors in the post and the realization of the cost savings really opened my eyes. I bought the book "Handcrafted Wire Findings" by Denise Peck and Jane Dickerson and have since been making most of my findings myself. Making my own findings made me go from timid header to really creating something truly fulfilling! Thanks for this site!

I enjoyed reviewing all 12 posts, but I was fascinated by the glass chain maille artist. Regular chain maille can be challenging enough, I can only imagine what it must be like to make it in glass.

My hands-down favorite has been the "Favorite Entries in the Beadwork Magazine 15th Anniversary Beaded Bead Contest" (November 19th), I just LOVE beaded beads, and there's some great inspiration on that post (not to mention the eye-candy).

But if I get to pick two - then second would be "When Is a Gemstone Not a Gemstone?" from June. I really enjoy working with pearls and coral, but hadn't really given much thought to amber in the past.
