The gauge is so thin that I haven&amp;#39;t found the safety back that actually provide a snug fit. Now I know. For all of you that are looking for great wire prices try Riogrande.com their pricing will just about blow you away it is so good.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I am not sure about using the Sharpie marker for earrings. I have read it recommended for a few other things as well, but for some reason it is usually way too big or way too small. For earrings one person recommended using a crayon, that has proven to be the perfect size for me. It doesn&amp;#39;t work for hardened metal though, but I have pencils, etc. the same size so no worries there. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I also make my own findings, it is so easy , I went to Young Harris, Ga and took some classes. I get Beadwork and love the ideas, as I love to use seed beads, my hands are not strong enough for wire work.&lt;/p&gt;
