My expert advice is - don&amp;#39;t be afraid to experiment. Prepare to have some screwballs - and go for the craziest ideas that come into your head. When things get screwed, take a note, so you don&amp;#39;t repeat the mistake. If you&amp;#39;re afraid of making mistakes, you&amp;#39;ll never achieve greatness. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Also, I disagree with Pavelka&amp;#39;s tip #2 - only bake your designs right on tile if you want them to develop ugly looking uneven shiny spots on the back. I use white typing paper for my flat designs and fiber blanket (can use synthetic batting) for 3D. I put those on a tile, of course. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Tip # 5 - I personally use water as my release agent. That provides for much less mess. I only use automotive spray when baking clay on clay, as for hollow forms. &lt;/p&gt;
