Of course, it's always fun shopping for new beads when you want to make a particular beading project, but that's not always possible

re: Take Those Seed Bead Patterns and Make Them Your Own!

Jennifer,

I am looking for a program that I can use to design rosettes and other seed bead projects. Something that I can put bead colors in and re-size etc. What would you suggest? Where could I get it?

I am Native American and would like to be able to make rosettes for the dancers in my tribe.

Thank you, Dee Falling Star Shear

I've got a lot of projects in my backlog because of this.

I'm learning to build my stash and then raid it when 'instantly inspired'.

My favorite line from your post:

"You don't have to stitch up the seed bead pattern exactly the way that it's printed"

I hardly EVER make a pattern exactly the way it is printed! LOL!

Every pattern is just a jumping off point for me. But I'm the same way with sewing and cooking.

Often I make part of the project and then use it for something else (a bracelet instead of a necklace or vice versa).

My main problem is not one of inspiration, it is finding enough time to make the projects!
