I just made a pair of earrings using only wire. So I may call it wire weaving. I really like the feel of it. Very thin wire is quite versatile and I am coming up with quite a few ideas.

I don't normally embroider, so I'd just glued the cabs into metal settings and attached earwires :) But if you want to go with seed beads/embroidery, I'd say go around bezels a couple of times, then cut them out and add kind of lace edge to them (you know, beaded loops). Hope that helps :).
