I'm thankful for my beads because I haven't been active in any crafting projects for quite some time and my job doesn't offer any outlet for my inner artist. I could feel my creativity slipping away day by boring day. I received a bracelet for my birthday and it popped off my wrist in a parking lot. When I realized it was gone I drove back only to find that it had been crushed by a car and it lay broken on the ground. I decided to look for a pattern to see if I could reconstruct the bracelet or make a new one from the old beads and that search opened the door to the wonderful world of beading. I find that when I bead all of the worries of the day fade into the background and those little glass treasures have a soothing and calming effect. They have rekindeled the flame of my crativity!

I'm thankful for my beads and it has bought me together with a wonderful group of like-minded friends. It has also taught me the patience that I didn't always have.
