I entered the last beading challenge and won the Big Box 'o Beads! I wrote my blog, the whole time thinking...I never win things like this. But way in the back of my mind, I still had hope :-) When I got the email telling me I had won, I thought someone was playing a joke. Boy was I wrong. I got the box of beads last week, and what a treasure trove. My thanks again to Beading Daily for proving this gal wrong, and for the generous supply of goodies that will keep my going for quite a while!!

Our local bead group, FAB (Florence Area Beaders) has had several challenges. One centered around a blown glass urn, one was "black and white" and another was to bead a nametag for another member in the group. For that one we filled out a short info sheet about colors we did and didn't like, interests, etc. So very freeform challenges only one of which had a base piece supplied and they were all different. The challenges turned out great and we all got to see what others were capable of creating. I'd love to do the Hole Bead Shop challenge, I'm sure it is probably about over by now, but I love their products. Donna

I'd like to read more of Beading Daily and Knitting Daily, but when the email notice comes on my IPad, there is no link...it says View this on the web, but no link to click on. I need to leave my email program, go to google and find it.

Thanks...Hope someone who can do something about this reads this.

Lucky you - and congrats. Those are some wonderful looking beads. Great article, enjoyed reading it very much. I have been in a couple beading contests and it is so much fun to open the package, touch the beads and let creativity fun.
