Over the years it's taken on a cluttered organizational style all it's own. My space has room for books that always grows, bead storage, baskets for wire, trays of projects and jelly roll pans of work in progress, it all works well, somehow.

The display space, doubles as a store when customers pick up orders and place them. People love to come & see my room. The choas is contagious and everyone loves to spend time in here. The computer does have to live in here too so I try not to load it down with too many things so I can get to it when I need to.

The bead room is my little slice of heaven and a santuary for me. It looks out on the back yard that I love so much & where we spend most of your "free" time. Come and see the bead room everyone is welcome.

Books and magazines line my bookcase and fit into baskets and I have an antique sewing box and a nice old cedar chest that house all the ribbons, yarns, fibers, bangles, etc. and keep them organized for the time being.

I don't like to watch t.v. when I create - I'd rather listen to music or the birds sing outside instead. I'm blessed to have a great view of our back yard from my studio, so when it's not too hot (I live in the desert) I do find my way onto the patio so I can enjoy beading out there!

It is located in my bedroom next to my computer desk. It hasn't proven ideal to have the computer and the beading in the same room. My computer will sometimes trump the other.

Overall, my favorite place to bead is on a TV tray in front of the TV watching a movie on disk. The down side to my arrangement is that I can't always see what color beads I have or where I put them.

How funny! I just published a post on my blog today about my studio makeover!

I have a part of our family room that is mine all mine, where I create my jewelry and I bought some new furniture for it because it was growing out of control!

So, from a desk with a bunch of bead boxes piled next to it, I now have lots of storage room and a more organized space!

I'd be very happy if you come by and check it out!

kisses,
