"To Wrap or Not to Wrap:" Practice is the key. The first wrapped loops I ever made were on a Swarovski crystal "charm" bracelet, and they were pitiful. However, by the time I finished the bracelet - 125 wrapped loops later - I was a Wrapping Diva! Of course, I had to go back and rework the first 20 I put in but it was a small price for perfection. LOL!!

Love all the posts. My favs to work with are the wonderful stones and gems that come from the earth. Amazing! I love all the astonishing variety our earth produces.

Having started cardmaking at the behest of a fellow work mate. Then the long lonley time of having to give up permanent work for a life of disability turned my attention to stringing beads. I thiught there had to be a better way of using findings so embarked on a silversmithing and jewellery making course. Now begining my second year and still enjoying the challenge of designing exciting quality pieces for myself at the slow rate of two per annumn. My attention has strayed into the world of quilting. Never having had an interest in quilting before it was a surprise to learn that it could be a challenge piecing together material to form geometric patterns. I now have time allocated to all my pursuits and to spending time rcovering from pain and stress (where the stress comes from I don't know...so I think some minfulness training is next!

My license plates actually say:

OOH SHNY (oooh, shiny)

My bead store owners plates say:

BEADS RK (beads rock)

So when we park next to each other, we say:

Oooh, shiny bead rock!!
