I probably would have done a lot more loom beadwork if I had known about the no-warps loom beading technique a long time ago. I love weaving beads on a loom, and my Mirrix Loom is one of my favorite beading tools, but those warps! This beader only has so much patience when it comes to making beadwork on a loom, and weaving in dozens of warp thread at the end of the project is definitely not something I enjoy doing.
I was thrilled earlier this year to get my hands on a Checkerboard Bracelet kit from Mirrix, and the accompanying no-warps weaving kit made it a snap to create this fun beaded bracelet project. If you're interested in learning more about this no-warps loom beading technique, register now for Weaving and Finishing Made Easy: Making a No Warp-Ends Checkerboard Bracelet on a Mirrix Loom. If you're a beginner to weaving beads on a loom, or just want to learn how to set up and weave beads with no warp ends to tie in, this is a great event for you!
Claudia Chase and Elena Zuyok will walk you through step-by-step instructions on how to create your own bead loomed bracelet using Japanese cylinder beads, a fun pewter button for a clasp, and absolutely no warp ends to tie in at the end of the project! What could be better than that?
