Most of us are here on Beading Daily because, well, we love glass beads! Am I right? Seed beads, pressed glass, vintage glass, handmade lampwork glass -- the list of favorite glass beads goes on and on. If you can imagine a shape, size, or color of glass bead, chances are, it exists.
I thought to celebrate February and show how much we love glass beads, we'd do an I Love Glass Beads blog hop here on Beading Daily! The only rule is this: whatever you create has to be made exclusively with glass beads. Include seed beads, gumdrop beads, spike beads, round glass druks, two-holed seed beads, or even glass pearls. Use any beading technique you'd like, including bead stringing, bead embroidery, or your favorite off-loom bead-weaving stitch. But whatever you make can be made ONLY with glass beads!
For me, I'm going to use this blog hop as an excuse to finally get to work on a piece of bead embroidery that I've been tossing around in my head for the last year or so. (Better late than never, right?) It uses a few of my favorite shapes of glass beads, like these gumdrop beads I used to create a little heart.
Create your best beaded creation using glass beads, and post it on your blog. We'll come back here on March 1, 2014 to see what we've all created and feel the love for our glass beads. If you bead and have a blog, make sure you post a link here so that we can all see your beautiful beaded creation!
