Of all my favorite beading techniques, freeform bead stitching is one of my favorites. It's a form of meditation in motion, and a wonderful way to let yourself relax and learn how to really listen to what your beads are trying to tell you. Freeform beading stitching is a way of letting go of all of your expectations of what might be, and instead opening yourself up to the wonderful possibilities of the present moment.
Learning how to do freeform bead stitching reminds me a lot of learning how to meditate. It's hard to just let your mind go with no particular destination in mind and to be able to recognize thoughts and then release them -- the same holds true for freeform bead stitching. To really be good at it, you have to let yourself be open to whatever beads are right in front of you, and you have to be able to slow down enough to allow yourself to listen to those beads.
And, just like learning how to meditate, having the right teacher makes a huge difference in mastering the technique of freeform bead stitching. If you've been searching for guidance in learning how to listen to your beads, we've put together this great live
