I've been beading for several years now and I've always used my dining room table.  I end up with backaches, headaches and blurred vision, lol.  after reading your blog I realized it didn't have to be that way and I could be comfortable while creating new pieces.  Thank you so much for the oh so informative blogs, not sure what I would do without them.  I have read so many and put so many to good use.  It was hard to choose just one.

Round the time that I was just starting doing my own wire weaving, bending, etc. I had been trying to find information on which wires to best use for which purposes and I felt so very overwhelmed (which I do on many occassions.) I mean, my main medium at the time was buying ready-made rings and weaving those into my chainmaille jewelry pieces so, at the time, I only really had to know which metals I needed to use for which projects. I also really only had to know whether the place I was buying them from was going to saw cut them or *gasp* snip cut them. I learned that mistake quickly!

But when I decided to try my hand at my own toggle clasp closures for my necklaces as well as wrapping my own stones from the local rock quarries we have here in NC, I had to know so much more about wire. I needed to understand guage and hardness and temper and this and that. When I was researching it I was so overwhelemed that I felt defeated. So I put it on the back burner and kept working on my other projects.

One day my email sounded and this was the blog post that changed everything for me: www.beadingdaily.com/.../why-did-that-wire-break-and-other-wire-jewelry-conundrums.aspx

Since then, I try to catch everything I can by this author as I have learned so much from just this one blog post. I hope that Ms. VanBenschoten is out there some where reading this because she changed everything for me with this one post!

I love seeing that I have a new e-mail from Beading Daily as I never know what great information will be in there! The blog that I have gotten the most from is the one that addresses using a color wheel for beading projects. I have always said that while I'm not afraid of color I certainly am not close friends with it (all of the walls in my home are lovely vanilla color!). I've never been much of a fashionista either so I don't draw on outfits or anything. This blog has been so very helpful in deciding what colors I can put together, should put together, what colors will push the envelope if I put them together and what colors I should never put together! I would recommend it to anyone - experienced or not!!

There have been many posts on beading daily that have captivated me and I have learned a lot from them but a most recent one is "Alternative to Using Crystal Beads in your Beading Projects". In a time where in the past year or two the beading industry has come out with such an amazing array of bead shapes, colors, multiple holes, giving us beaders fun challenges to design with, why stick only to crystals?

I love Beading Daily.  It pops up on my iPhone at work during my break so I can have a "taste" of delicious bead news with my sandwich.

It's so hard to choose just one of the entries on Beading Daily as a favorite. Though, for now to choose just one, I'd have to say it's How to Become a Stitch Pro. www.beadingdaily.com/.../how-to-become-a-stitch-pro.aspx

I'm new to beading and have gone crazy buying beads so this blog is definitely my favourite, though I do love them all! www.beadingdaily.com/.../organization-tips.aspx

It's exciting to see so many new types of organization ideas for beads and supplies. I must confess that I'm a little slow at trying to organize my inventory, but the blogs help get me motivated. And one day......

I love the history of beads and beadwork.  While I can't say that I have a favorite Beading Daily blog (because there are so many excellent blogs on all manner of beading topics), I can say that the blog discussing "The Beading Stitches of Native American Beadwork" is one of my favorites because of its basic historical information.

One of my many favorites is about adding beads to kumihimo. I do kumihimo (without beads) with my fourth grade students this time of year. So this is one of my favorites. Maybe this year I'll have the kids try to add some beads.

This recent Wire Wrap blog was intriguing.  I truly enjoy many of the blogs. I am not sure if it is an all time favorite since I keep changing my mind as new blogs come along. But Wire Wrap is a new interest of mine so this rates very high.  I would love to win the book and bead selection. Patricia Koko

I enjoy following the Beading Daily Blog.  It is hard to say which is my favourite but if I had too, it would have to be the most recent blog about replacing crystals with other stones or glass beads.  Sparked me to modify a pattern I'm about to do again.  I'm sure it will work out.

Lots of great help and ideas but for me learning to bead crochet has been the hardest thing for me (must be being left handed).

And if it wasn't for a post in this blog I would be no where near learning how to begin...    www.beadingdaily.com/.../bead-crochet-it-39-s-a-well-done-experience.aspx

I love me some beadingdaily blog.  I also very much enjoyed the blogs that came out of the "Traveling Beaded Bracelets".  There was so much variety and compassion and humanity worked into the delightful humor of some of those who got to share in the experience.  I think this is an amazing give away and thanks to all of those who contributed to it.  I'd love to win so I could share the goodies with a couple of my beading buddies.   Thanks again for the opp!
