Are you ready to enter a beadwork competition? Bead artist Zoya Gutina has posted the information for her third
Fashion Colorworks contest on her website, My Lovely Beads. The Fashion
Colorworks contest is open to beaders from around the world, both amateur and
professional.
Entries in the contest must use one of the three different
color combinations from the Pantone Color Institute posted on the Fashion
Colorworks contest website. Collaborations between up to four artists are
allowed.

The categories for the Fashion Colorworks Contest are:
Seed bead jewelry: The finished piece must be made from at
least 50% seed beads.
Finished jewelry: The finished piece must be less than 50%
seed beads and should include other types of glass beads, found objects, wire,
metal clay pieces or semi-precious gemstones.
Seed bead objects: Finished pieces which are not jewelry and
are made from at least 50% seed beads.
You can enter one piece in each color palette per category
for a total of up to 9 entries. Entries can be submitted between April 1, 2012 and June 15, 2012. There is no entry fee. Prizes include gift
certificates, beading magazine subscriptions and bead packages.
