There's a New Guide in Town!

Aug 26, 2011

Those of you who remember me from my days as the Guide to Beadwork on will be happy to know that there is a new Guide for the site, and she's already been busy blogging and designing free patterns! Chris Franchetti Michaels, the author of Teach Yourself Visually: Beadwork was my Contributing Writer at, mainly responsible for designing easy beading patterns, and now she's taken over as the Guide for the entire site.

Take a few minutes to pop over to the forums and give her a warm welcome! While you're there, you can also check out the free beading patterns and free beading stitch tutorials.

Chris is a very talented and very knowledgeable beader, and I'm looking forward to seeing what she does with the Beadwork site!

I have found lots of good info on, including many things i've learned from you!

my only 'complaint' is that it's difficult to print patterns/tutorials, they're not printer friendly. i don't bead well in front of my computer, i'd rather be able to have pages to make notes on, to underline on, and just to be able to handle.

Well yay!!  And I looked around and found the perfect flower for an upcoming project I'm preparing for so double yay!!!

And I agree with Cally about the 'not printer friendly'.. LOL  I figure they are trying to discourage theft? LOL   Wonderful patterns and tutorials there though.. just harder to work with in their current format.  :-)  But hey for the price who can complain!!

For anyone using the About site, in the upper right hand corner, there is a print option for the articles, if you click on it instead of using the print option from the browser, it will remove all the ads and format the article for easy printing.

You will still have to print one page for each step for the step by step articles, but it is easier to read and you will have plenty of room for notes.

extra fat is limited.-Reading the reviewsYou should be able to find multiple online sellers offering the jacket you could be involved in. Be certain to examine through several reviews to view what the downsides from your jacket seem to be to be. keep in mind, system type may possibly make people nowadays give a coat a bad review credited to the truth which they felt it failed to fit right. Before buying, try on the <a href="">canada goose coat</a> lower jacket, preferably the precise same make and product you plan on buying. Use time to your advantage. If you might have time on our side, it is possible to likely obtain a much better offer online, or in a reseller store toward the end of winter, when winter pieces are discounted. ZSJ

Thanks for the welcome, Jennifer!! This'll be so much fun! :)

As for those beading patterns, I'm working hard to publish them in great big sizes now, which - with luck - you should be able to print directly from your computer after clicking to enlarge them in the articles. If you run into trouble though, feel free to contact me here or through
