Vast quantities of seed beads and delicas, with the occasional crystal thrown in for good measure. And, of course, the all-important needles and thread!

Hmmm, how big is this chest??? I would be thrilled to find wire in various metals and gauges, as well as sheet metal.  Of course, all the fun tools for playing with metal would be there too.  A good selection of gems, beads and crystals and needles and thread.  Absolutely necessary, the perfect work surface and light.  Throw in a couple good bead books for inspiration and some good chocolate and I would not be in a rush to be rescued!

Swarovski crystals - all the new shapes and colors. Delicas, seed beads in 8's, 11's, 15's. A work tray, needles, thread, wires and tools. Oh, gotta have a couple of jugs of my sweet tea and a hammock!

I could just sit and bead, sip tea and take a nap once in a while, then back to beading!

Did I mention, it's probably a really big trunk!

LaDonna - NW Arkansas

PS...MaryAnn, because she was so smart and not shallow.  :-)

I am a Maryann kind of girl so I just need the basics. Start with Fire line, scissors, needles, glue, assorted beads, bead mat, wire, and Ultra Suede. Include a hand drill for making holes in the shells and drift wood to incorporate into my bead art.  If there is still room in the chest, a solar panel and bead light so I could bead at night. Maybe when I am rescued, I will look like Ginger with my new bead creations.

As I wait for my rescue I would wile away my time with the seed beads, crystals, needles & thread, earring & necklace findings, tools and all kinds of miscellaneous beads I would hope to find in the trunk to spark my imagination.  Ahh, hours & hours of uninterrupted beading, sounds like heaven, not a desert island.  Don't send help for about a week (I may start getting hungry).  MaryAnn, she seems like the type who would like to bead, but, make sure she gets her own trunk, otherwise, I'll have to share, boo hoo.
