How do you know how much is the cost of materials if you buy materials it a glass bead kit? Do I put the cost of what I spend for each bead kit and wire I buy?

The problem idscussed here is a nightmare for me. When I catch the inspiration, all the rest does not exist for me for a while. I use up all beading mats, then I switch to boards, then to various containers, kitchen & office supplies. At the moment I do not have a solution for that - at first, I cover all surfaces available with my started projects and supplies, and then, after a while, I notice that my husband is getting nervous about the lack of space to sit down or (sometimes) to have a meal. That's when I look around and realize that I have already covered all living space with my stuff :)

The only thing that kind of works for me - limit the number of needles used simultaneously :)

I leave 4-5 needles in easy access, and put the rest away

I have 1000+ of those little bottles ....and i NEVER thought of starting at the BOTTOM...I also put pictures in the bottle and all other kinds of things...

You can get them at Michaels or Hobby Lobby, but the best and cheapest place I found them was on Ebay. I got 250 pair for $1.99 free shipping and handling.

I just saw a necklace"Blooming in St. Petersburg" featured on "about.com.beadwork" I love the necklace but cannot find the pattern. Has anyone have the pattern? Would appreciate the help.

One of the first weaves I learned but I didn't know it had a name. It was a bracelet and I have adapted that pattern so many times I can almost do it from memory.

my favorite type of clasp is one that i kind of thought of myself.....you take a cheap betton of the size you need...dip it in modge pdge and then dip it into the seed beads you used in the project, or if you didn't use seed beads then pick one that matches your piece. let it dry for at least 3-4 hours or even overnight and there you go....a perfect and inexpensive way to make a matching clasp every time!!!

Hi Jen, could you offer some help on stitching around an oval cabochon without stitching it to some sort of backing? Like you did in your triangular cabochon tutorial maybe?

I like the way it sits in a little "beaded nest" and doesn't have the fabric backing.

I love chevron chain! It doesn't look like a versatile stitch at first glance, but there are so many fun things to do with it - especially when you experiment with different bead sizes or quantities.
