Create Oxidized Wire Post Earrings

Inspired by YOU

Some days (OK, most days) you amaze me!  In the Reader Showcase area of the forums, I was blown away by Australian member Huan Pham who created the beautiful wireworked seahorse pictured here.  Isn't it amazing?  View the larger photo in the forums if you want to be impressed by his precise wirewrapping skills!

In addition to beautiful finished pieces by other readers, you might also want to check out these recent forum activities:

  • A group of beaders organized their own informal bead swap on the forums and traded some of their "What do I do with this?" beads that were hanging around their stash.  Read about their adventure.
  • Pricing your jewelry continues to be one of the most popular discussion topics.  Most recently, reader Liana shared her formula for figuring out her labor costs, including adding 10% at the end so that her customers can bargain her down.   What's your pricing strategy?  Discuss this topic.
  • Another popular discussion has been on growing tomato plants.  Yes, you read that correctly!  Did you know there's a special place on the forums for non-beading discussions?

If you're not reading and participating in the forums, you're missing out on something special.  Here's an email I just received from Babs, a Beading Daily member:  "No wonder I love this site so much.  I have chatted with people about things beside beading, had help with beading problems, and also have been able to help others."  Thanks, Babs–I couldn't have said it better myself!
