Maybe it's because I live in the heart of the Adirondack mountains of upstate New York, but I love to find inspiration for my beaded jewelry designs from the natural world. Every day, I'm greeted with the experience of being able to live close to the Earth, whether it's in the food and flowers we grow in our gardens, the chickens and ducks we keep, the breathtaking views of the rivers and mountains, or a lazy day spent paddling our canoe along one of the nearby lakes, rivers, and waterways.
Of course, all of these things are going to have a profound affect on what my beaded jewelry designs look like! Because I love this part of the world so much, I thought I'd share a few of my favorite inspirations for beaded jewelry designs from the beauty of the natural world.
The Beauty of Spring — Floral Motifs
Ode to a Grecian Urn — Color Palettes
Cloud City — Texture
