Free Peyote Pattern #1

Pearly Mosaic by Lisa Kan

Mosaic tile work inspired this peyote stitch necklace in colors chosen to mimic the sea. By utilizing both transparent and opaque Japanese seed beads in two sizes, 15° and 11°, Lisa added subtle textural interest to the peyote based design. Instead of increasing peyote stitches, one and two drop peyote is used to expand the ring uniformly. Although made in the same peyote pattern, the rings have alternating colors and connecting them in a particular sequence adds a sense of controlled randomness and movement. The pearl clasp closure provides a seamless connection and is modeled after a ball and socket concept.

Free Peyote Pattern #2

Confetti Spiral by Marilyn T. Aronson

Create your own fiesta using vivid, bold colors in a Dutch spiral, where simply changing bead sizes in tubular peyote creates a dynamic twist effect. Once you get the hang of the spiraling stitches, you’ll have a samba on your wrist in no time!
Free Pattern The Illusion

Free Peyote Pattern #3

The Illusion by Julie Ann Smith

If you love to make bracelets from a charted peyote pattern, you’ll find yourself addicted to this beading pattern.  Being a cartoonist at heart, the designer of this peyote bracelet is a big fan of color!  This odd-count peyote bracelet is named after the illusion that the center section of the bracelet appears larger than either side, although it is really the same size.
Free Project Midnight Garden Cuff

Free Peyote Pattern #4

Midnight Garden Cuff by Lynn Davy

A formal garden of sparkling flowers blooms in a sea of black odd-count peyote stitch to make an elegant cuff peyote bracelet. The design was inspired by one of the beading techniques described in Cynthia Rutledge’s “Master Class”, in the October/November 2006 issue of Beadwork.
Free Pattern Jane of the Jungle

Free Peyote Pattern #5

Jane of the Jungle by Michelle Mach

This narrow peyote bracelet uses a range of matte greens, plus black and cream and was created as a freeform peyote pattern.  Designed by Beading Daily Editor, Michelle Mach, this finished beadwork looks like camouflage.
Free Pattern Caspian Sea Sock

Free Peyote Pattern #6

Banded Tapestry Cuff by Kathy King

Make bracelets that come to life with added texture and dimension by incorporating netting between rows of peyote. Discover an endless variety of designs by changing the widths and placement of the sections. Additional depth and interest are added by using crystals within the netted sections.

Free Pattern Comfy Socks
